RALEIGH -- For the third month in a row, the state unemployment rate remained unchanged at 9.4 percent. June's numbers were released Friday morning and the NC Commerce Department says North Carolina has added 85,000 jobs since June of last year when the jobless rate was 10.6 percent.

The industry with the largest over-the-month gain was professional and business services.
