CHARLOTTE -- In an effort to help women battle breast cancer, Presbyterian Healthcare unveiled it's new 38-foot mobile mammography unit. On-board you'll find a check-in area, private changing room and mammography screening equipment.

Several partners helped Presbyterian fund this new endeavor including breast cancer survivor Agnes Weisiger.

"I'm very proud of it and I hope we can get these patients with their lumps early enough so they can cure the cancer," she said. "Breast cancer is one of the curable ones. We know that."

According to a 2011 report by the Charlotte branch of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Mecklenburg County has the highest percentage in the state of breast cancer cases diagnosed at stage four.
