CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte City Council will vote next week on a controversial proposal to rezone 319 acres of land near Lake Wylie in the Steele Creek area for a development called Chapel Cove.
The vote was scheduled for Monday, but was delayed because not all council members will be in attendance.
Critics, including the group, Save Lake Wylie Coves, say the development will have a negative impact on the lake.
