Havelock High School coach named coach of year

HAVELOCK—Jim Bob Bryant, the coach of the Havelock High School Rams, is the 2011 Prep football coach of the year.
Bryant earned nearly a third of the 16 votes from sports writers across the state. The Rams finished the season undefeated and won the state 3-A Championship.
Havelock High School was also one of two schools to have two players make the Associated Press all-state team
