Rose Hill—It is Christmas in July for one North Carolina town thanks to Marvel Studios.

Filming for Iron Man Three started this week in Rose Hill where crews have wasted no time in decorating for a holiday-themed scene.

"It's been kind of crazy. It started off as just lots of people and then they started all of this other stuff," said owner of Classic Cuts hair salon Judy Cavenaugh.

For the last couple of weeks, crews have transformed part of the town by hanging Christmas lights and wreaths for the scene, including outside of her shop. However the crews are doing more than creating a holiday wonderland, they are also spending some cash.

"Two weeks ago they started building the Iron man Facilities and stuff,so yeah, we had a boost. In the past two weeks, it's been really good business," said manager of Lidia's Restaurant in Rose Hill Magdiel Fuentes.

Some owners complained of having extra parking spaces taken over by the extra traffic and equipment, but for the most part the community seems to be pleased with having the crews in town.

"It's bringing a lot of activity. A lot of business directly to local businesses here. A lot of buzz in town. A lot of people excited. I think it is very good for us," said town administrator, Tom Drum.

Business owners say they have been told to expect filming to take place for up to two weeks.
