Severe weather causes blackout

(GARNER) -- At the height of Tuesday's storm, almost 70,000 people were without power in Central Carolina.
High winds snapped trees, mostly pine, in half. That in turn, snapped power lines.
Police blocked off highways to prevent people from driving across live power lines.
