Hurricanes can spawn tornadoes
NORTH CAROLINA -- When hurricanes reach land, they bring a lot of dangers with them – including the possibility of tornadoes. Hurricane Ivan spawned the most tornadoes on record when it created 123 separate tornadoes in 2004.
