RAIN CHANCE INCREASING THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
No severe storms expected but heavy rain possible.
-----------------
TONIGHT: Humid. Mostly cloudy. A shower or thundershower possible. Low 62.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and humid. Scattered shower and thunderstorm chance increases throughout the day and evening. High 81.
-----------------
Still expected a soggy scenario to unfold this weekend. Scattered showers and thundershowers should blossom with time tomorrow and maximize in the evening- which does not bode well for the NASCAR action. Sunday, showers and thunderstorms will be common. While no severe storms are expected- meaning no large hail or damaging wind gusts- heavy rain cells are likely. Slow cell movement may create some runoff issues and make driving difficult at times. 1 to 3 inches of rain looks likely over the next 3 days.
