WILMINGTON—Wine and chocolate connoisseurs are in for a delicious treat this weekend at the Wilmington chocolate and wine festival.

The annual festival will have chocolate and wine booths set up for festival goers to sample. Organizers say there is something for everyone and it's for a good cause.

"Everybody should come, have a good time, help us kick off the festival and again remember that the money that you spend while you are here on your entrance or admission helps a senior,” said coordinator Maryanna Stacey.

The festival begins on Friday. All proceeds will benefit senior citizens in New Hanover County.
