RALEIGH--Raleigh police suspect alcohol or drugs could be involved in a deadly car crash early Saturday morning.

The fatal accident happened at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and TW Alexander Drive just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say David Coker Jr. ran a red light and hit another car, killing the driver.

Coker is facing DWI and felony death charges.

A female passenger in the other car was taken to the hospital, and there is no word on her condition.
