CORNELIUS, N.C.--Two Winston-Salem men are under arrest in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in Cornelius.

The driver, 23-year-old Jacob Kost, is charged with murder, hit-and-run, and DWI.

The passenger, 21-year-old Jason Shaw, is charged with accessory to murder.

The accident happened on Bethel Church Road around 2 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim, Kevin Sweet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say witnesses were able to give officers a good description of the car.
