BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. -- New details in the the case to remove Brunswick County Commissioner Charles Warren from the Department of Social Services Board were released Wednesday.

A judge in Brunswick County ruled the county commission has the right to remove Warren. Commissioners have been trying to remove him from the DSS Board since December when he was dismissed from a meeting over a disagreement with Chairman Bill Sue.

Warren had filed a lawsuit that said he has the right to serve out his three-year term. There's no word yet on when the hearing to remove Warren will be held.
