WILMINGTON -- UNC Wilmington is ranked one of the "best values" among public universities in the nation and number two in North Carolina according to the Kiplinger's rankings. In 2010 and 2011 they were ranked 27th nationally but now are 15th.

Kiplinger's has rated UNCW in the top five public universities in North Carolina since 2003. They assess quality and affordability based on a number of standards.
