RALEIGH — Employees who must stay outside in the recent heat wave have worked on taking extra precautions in order to stay safe in the rising temperatures.
Managers at Autobell car wash say they constantly rotate employees to avoid heat exhaustion and they make sure everyone is staying hydrated.
"We do have to emphasize the hydration before work. Especially the night before is pretty critical as much as it is during the day. And then throughout the day we give them multiple breaks and tell them to hydrate as much as possible," said General Manager, Autobell car wash Joseph Noel.
Noel also said employees will not be able to work more than two hours in a row.
