RALEIGH – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Thursday night after being hit by a car at the intersection of Duraleigh and Pleasant Valley roads. It happened just before 7 p.m.

The name and condition of the pedestrian is unknown, but that person was taken to WakeMed.

Raleigh Police's accident reconstruction unit is trying to determine what happened and whether the driver should be charged.
