GREENSBORO, N.C. -- More contracts could be in store for minority business owners in the Triad. Thursday, hundreds of people came out for the inaugural Gate City Minority Business Opportunity Fair.
The event gave business owners the chance to connect with prospects who have subcontracting opportunities. The City of Greensboro, North Carolina A&T State University and Guilford County Schools were just a few of the companies in attendance.
"Here we get a chance to see what their skill sets are, what their capacities are and then from there we can match them with the appropriate opportunity with our agencies," said Tammie Hall with Guilford County Schools.
The event was hosted by the East Market Street Development.
