A former Iredell County man was found lying on the road in Pitt County, and police said he was killed in a hit and run.

Troopers told the Greenville Daily Reflector that 20-year-old Austin Baeza was likely hit early Saturday morning near Greenville.

Troopers said they're not sure where he was going, or what type of car hit him.

They say Baeza moved to Greenville from Mooresville two weeks ago.
