Three men appear in Beaufort court in connection to double murder

BEAUFORT, N.C. -- Three people appeared in court in Beaufort Monday in connection with the shooting death of a father and son. Jjhaden Davis, 21, and Joseph Pirrotta, 24, are charged with murder.
Authorities say they shot and killed 20-year old Albert Correll and his father, 50-year-old Duane Correll, at a home on Taylor's Farm Road earlier this month. Brandon Smallwood, 23, is charged with accessory after the fact.
Pirrotta was recently discharged from the Navy. Davis and Smallwood are Navy corpsman assigned to Camp Lejeune.
Their next court appearances are scheduled for July 6.
