HAVELOCK, N.C.--Forestry officials continue to battle a wildfire in the Croatan National Forest.
Officials say between 2,000 and 3,000 acres are affected by the fire.
Forestry officials are requesting help from the state to try and contain it.
They've been conducting a controlled burn near Camp Lejeune since Friday.
