CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. -- Cleveland County deputies seized more than $300,000 worth of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Monday night.
Sheriff Alan Norman said deputies made the stop just inside the North Carolina border when they discovered eight pounds of the drug in the trunk area.
Two people were charged. According to Norman, it is the largest drug bust they have had from a traffic stop.
