NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Mosquito trucks will resume spraying this week around New Hanover County.

County representatives said they have received more complaints than usual, but the numbers of mosquitoes they are seeing are not uncommon for the season. Since several cases of West Nile Virus have been reported across North Carolina, they want to remain extra cautious.

The spraying will take place in several neighborhoods Wednesday and Thursday of this week between 6 p.m. until 12 a.m..
