WILSON, N.C.--One state hospital is trying to recruit nurses in a unique way.

Wilson Medical Center is holding a career fair for medical professionals at the Carolina  Mudcats game on Friday.

The hospital will set up a kiosk right near home base, to try to get its name out there and bring in new nurses and physical therapists.

Hospital reps say they've had success with these kinds of events in the past.

"The last job fair in June we had several candidates come ready to go with resume in hand and so we have hired a few from that initial job fair so we're excited to do it again," said Susan Terrell with Wilson Medical Center.

The hospital welcomes everyone to stop stop by the kiosk, and they'll be there the whole game.
