"It's terrific that a number of companies are now wanting to come locate here and we think that we're a real player in the aerospace industry," Baker said.

The Greensboro Economic Development Alliance just came back from their trip to the International Airshow where companies from all over the world came together to network and find new business.

"The positive part about the placement was that the article will be in the magazine for the entire month of July, which means we caught all of the traffic going over to the international air show as well as it going to the Olympics," said president of Greensboro Economic Development Alliance Dan Lynch.

Officials said with their presence at the air show, combined with the exposure in the magazine, the Piedmont has a bright future in the sky.
