CHARLOTTE -- One man is in jail, and two others are wanted for their role in what Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are describing as the biggest burglary ring broken up in decades.

The case began when police in Greensboro and Charlotte discussed similarities in large scale breaking and entering of businesses.

Months of hard work led police to a warehouse of stolen goods in Kannapolis, that also doubled as a shipping center of the stolen property to Craigslist.

Daniel Reyes was arrested and charged in connection to four of the burglaries, in an operation described by police as professional.

"To know how to disable alarm systems, to know how to remove lock mechanisms without drawing attention to themselves,” CMPD Capt. Allan Rutledge said.

Two other men - Ineido Aldana and Elias Larosa – are wanted in connection to the burglary ring.

If you have information on their whereabouts, you're asked to call CrimeStoppers at (704) 334-1600.
