WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C.— A company in Wilmington has a new product to protect your cell phone from water damage.
The Dry Case keeps cell phones safe if they are near or submerged in water—tested in depths of up to 100 feet. One unique feature of Dry Case is you can visually prove to yourself that your phone is safe and will remain dry before your swim.
“When you create this vacuum seal before using it you are proving to yourself that it is still waterproof because you can see that it is sealed. If for whatever reason it lost it's seal you could be like, ok, wait a minute,” said Corey Heim, Dry Case.
Dry Case is selling the waterproof cases at 100 retail stores around the country and has about six international distributors.
