Witnesses for the prosecution testified for the second day on Thursday in Wilmington in a hearing for this former green beret and Fort Bragg surgeon. Jeffrey MacDonald is seeking a new trial based on new forensic evidence and testimony. He is serving life in prison for murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters more than 40 years ago.
